Local Areas
Partners address needs at a local level as well as tackling county-wide issues.
The Local Area groups are represented by the Chief Executives of the District and Borough Councils, and day-to-day coordination is provided by the District Economic Development teams. Each local area has its own economic forum, which drives forward projects at a local level.

In addition, Norfolk County Council is a major funder and supporter of Shaping Norfolk's Future. The council's Economic Development Unit's work is directed towards achieving the strategic goals of the partnership, through a wide range of projects and activities.
Strong support is given to Norfolk's key sectors and resources are directed to a number of activities including attracting investment, building stronger international links, encouraging enterprise and raising the profile of Norfolk as a great place to work, live and do business.
