The Port’s 24/7 ability to service gas platforms in the Southern North Sea has meant the development of a strong, highly skilled supply chain which is innovative, adaptable and in demand across the world. Port activity is complimented by expertise in range of disciplines including t
hose of off-shore wind, electronics and logistics.
The development of an outer harbour in Great Yarmouth will offer fast links to the continent and will extend the ports role in offshore energy and general cargo handling meeting a need for deep-water berths.

EnterpriseGY is responsible for creating enterprise opportunities in the Borough of Great Yarmouth. We are part of a government-funded programme designed to support enterprise and investment in local communities, with an ambition to make Great Yarmouth the enterprise capital of the East by 2020
Over 300 companies and 440 jobs have been created through the EnterpriseGY programme and 1,000 young people engaged in entrepreneurial activities since its inception.
Great Yarmouth Marketing Initiative (GYMI)
The Great Yarmouth Marketing Initiaive (GYMI) promotes the port and industry of Great Yarmouth at home and abroad. GYMI offers its membership opportunities to explore new markets in a cost effective way through supported attendance at trade fairs, exhibitions and promotional events both in the UK and overseas.
